General Notes:

This was a half-batch. Brewed for ATG Brewers Night. Efficiency was horrible, so I boiled another 30 minutes for wort concentration and got about the gravity that I wanted.
Tasting Notes:

Poured from jockey box into a pint glass.

Appearance: hazy, murky yellow hue with the tiniest layer of white foam atop. I think the body is just right, but I didn't carbonate this long enough to get a really acceptable head. C'est la vie. (3.5)

Smell: lightly smoky with a light wheat aroma. The neutral yeast means there's not a ton of yeast-driven character in this, but then again there's not supposed to be. It's interesting, and not entirely unsuccessful. (3.75)

Taste: like the aroma, there's a light smokiness and just a hint of hop character. The hops are maybe a little minty in character and add a nice dimension to the overall flavor. (3.75)

Mouthfeel: this beer is very nearly flat -- my carbonation regime did not really work out on this one -- will have to do better in the future. I force-carbed at room temp rather than cold, which was a mistake. Body is reasonable, though. (3)

Drinkability: this is a pretty darn drinkable beer at 3.3% ABV. It's got an interesting character to keep me sipping. (4)

Overall score 3.65 (B). Sad about the carbonation, otherwise this is a pretty promising recipe.
